Our team is fully accredited with OH&S, Senior First Aid and fully equipped with all the tools and machinery to have the project completed to our clients’ satisfaction.

Lomac Commercial Flooring is committed to “onsite” training in partnership with Lidcombe TAFE to educate all our apprentices through to a Certificate III Level in Floorcoverings.

In conjunction with TAFE we have undertaken a certified training programme to enable our qualified tradesmen to carry out training of our apprentices’ onsite.

We graduate approximately 3 new qualified tradesmen each year.

Over the years we have also had representation on the ALMITAB (Australian Light Manufacturing Industry Training Advisory Board). Lomac is committed to training the youth of NSW to becoming qualified trades personnel.

Our complete understanding of certain products such as vinyl tiles and sheeting, along with anti-slip vinyl sheeting allows for a reliable trouble-free flooring installation project.

Equal to that, our trained staff have a complete understanding of the style, textures, colours of all brands of carpets and the textures and designs of carpet tiles.

Equally as important is the firm understanding of anti-static vinyl, rubber flooring and linoleum, only made possible due to regular and specific product training that Lomac Commercial Flooring provides.

Anti-static vinyl flooring, for example, allows company employees to work within a safe workplace environment by eliminating static discharges discomforting to workers during their normal course of duties.

And to be compared to rubber flooring and linoleum, which are specialist flooring products suitable mainly for commercial applications to suit durability application and long-term maintenance of this type of flooring product and system.
